About this product

Pinnacle Alpert MLCP Barrier Pipe 16mm x 2mm.

WRAS approved

Multilayer Pipe is a premium multilayer composite pipe with an aluminium layer.  This provides excellent strength, a 100% oxygen barrier, and it holds its shape when bent.

Outer Layer – Polyethylene raised temperature (PE-RT) plastic coat protects the aluminium core and allows the outer shell to be coloured without contaminating the water.

Adhesive Layer – Interface zone between the outer PE-RT layer and the aluminium core.  Bonds the materials together and prevents shear slippage.

Aluminium Layer – Thin layer of overlap welded aluminium which forms a 100% oxygen barrier to protect against corrosion and allows the pipe to have the ‘formstable’ characteristic.

Adhesive Layer –  Interface zone between the inner PE-RT layer and the aluminium core.  Bonds the materials together and prevents shear slippage.

Inner Layer – Inner layer of clear PE-RT.  Inert and does not affect the water in any way.  Allows for a smooth wall surface to reduce pressure drops for water flow.

A wide range of complementary accessories to ensure trouble-free fitting; including euroconus pipe connectors, manifolds, pump sets, floor insulation, mounting rail, pipe staples, tacker gun and bend supports.

If ordering multiple coils of the Pinnacle Alpert MLCP Barrier Pipe 16mm x 2mm, a pallet delivery will be required on a free 1-2 day service.

We offer you free next working day delivery* on all small orders for our heating products to any UK mainland address. 

Please note: this service excludes Ireland, Northern Ireland, Èire and the Scottish Highlands. Further to our standard delivery service, we are also able to offer a pre-10:30 am delivery service on any working day. However, this level of carriage does come with an added cost:

To qualify for free next working day delivery, you must submit your order to us before 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Our free next-working-day delivery service excludes pallet deliveries.

If your order is placed after the 3:30 pm cut-off on a Friday, it will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery. Bank holidays are considered non-working days and will be treated as such. 

Here at Cli-Mate, we make sure that all efforts are made to ensure that you receive your order on the next available working day.

If the order requires delivery via a pallet, the service will be free on a 1-2 working days delivery and shown at checkout. 

If a pallet delivery is required for your order (typically large bulky items, coils of 500m pipe, Overlay Panels, Insulation) have you considered the following:

  1. Are there any access issues leading to you delivery point, can you fit a 18t vehicle to you location?
  2. Do you have your own facilities to off load? If not do you require a Tail Lift and Pump Truck?
  3. Our vehicles will only unload  kerb side, if you have a gravel drive way this will be left where the driver is able to unload with Tail Lift (if requested).

If you foresee any issues with a pallet delivery, please contact our sales support team as soon as possible on 01284 339669.

Please note: whilst we maintain strong relationships with our couriers and will do everything we can to ensure your delivery is with you the next working day (excluding pallet deliveries), some circumstances are beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or unusual events. This may lead to unavoidable disruption to your delivery’s arrival date. We will not be held responsible for any costs that are incurred as a result of delayed delivery, and it is recommended that customers ensure the materials required by their contractors are on site prior to the commencement of any work. 

We are here to help. As such, in the case that your product has been delayed, we will use our tracking service to help keep you informed and up to date of the estimated time and date of your delivery.

We can deliver to the Scottish Highlands, additional charges do apply and will be calculated at checkout.  Due to increasing custom charges we no longer ship to Ireland. If you require your order to be shipped to Northern Ireland or Ireland, arrangements can be made by prior agreement, please contact 01284 339669 to discuss with an account manager.

If you wish to collect your order from our warehouse, this must be done by prior arrangement, and collection can only be made once you have confirmation from our team that your goods are ready. Please do not turn up at our warehouse without prior arrangement and confirmation as you may be disappointed and turned away whilst your order is collated, and a collection time agreed.
