The Cli-Mate stainless steel underfloor heating manifold consists of two manifold bars, one for the flow and one for the return. It comes complete with a bracket, automatic air vent, drain fill valves, and pressure gauge.
An underfloor heating manifold is a system that distributes warm water to each UFH zone. It connects the underfloor heating pipework to the heat source, feeding water at the correct temperature from either the boiler (via a blending valve) or from the heat pump, and directs it to each UFH pipe at the correct flow rate.
On the flow bar, each port has a flow indicator with an isolator and an easy-to-read gauge glass. Each port on the return bar is equipped with an integral control valve and protection cap, which allows the user to adjust the volume of water, or it can be removed to accept a Manifold Thermoelectric Head. Balance is achieved by adjusting the flow meters to ensure that the flow rates supplied to each zone are at the optimum level to provide even and comfortable warmth across the entire floor.

When installing a manifold for underfloor heating, it’s important to choose a location that allows for easy installation, neat placement, and seamless passage of central heating pipes. Typically, suitable locations for the manifold include under the stairs, in the storage area, or in the wall near the meter. The specific size and type of manifold needed will depend on factors such as the number of rooms, the type of flooring, and the underfloor heating system being used.
