About this product

Cli-Mate Aluminium Heat Spreader Plates designed for use with wet underfloor heating systems.

Aluminium spreader plate dimension are 1000 x 390 x 0.7 mm to suit underfloor heating pipes sizes from 15mm -16mm in diameter, each aluminium underfloor heating spreader plate has twin / double preformed groves for pipes at 200 mm centres.

These underfloor heating spreader plates have an omega shape grove to clip and hold the pipe securely unlike a straight U channel spreader plates.

Each water underfloor shop aluminium double spreader plate will cover a heated floor area of 1/2 m² allowing sufficient spacing between each spreader plate, and also at the edge of the room where the pipe turns 180° back into the spreader plate.

The underfloor heating double spreader plates, suitable for suspended floor systems, fitted on top of floor joists, or battens at the standard 400 mm centers. Joist space variance can be overcome on-site.
Underfloor heating spreader plates have preformed channels with pipe centers of 200 mm. Secure the spreader plates by nailing, screwing or stapling onto the top of the floor joist or floor battens.

The Cli-Mate Aluminium Heat Spreader Plates will give the underfloor heat output of 77 watts per m² at room temperature 20C with a floor temperature of 27C. Any variation on either of the these two temperatures this will vary the heat output ( or -) from the underfloor heating system.

With a 0.7mm thickness these underfloor heating spreader plates provide a sturdy, professional-quality material for installations.

Place the spreader plate snugly beneath the floorboards to give direct contact to the floor board, this gives the maximum heat transfer from your water underfloor heating system. Insulation fits beneath the ufh spreader plate to minimize downwards heat-loss.

Free delivery (2-3 day service) will be offered as standard* on orders over £25 for our heating products to any UK mainland address.  If the order requires delivery via a pallet, the service will be free 2-3 working day delivery and shown at checkout.

Please note: this service excludes Ireland, Northern Ireland, Èire and the Scottish Highlands. Further to our standard delivery service, we are also able to offer a pre-10:30 am delivery service on any working day. However, this level of carriage does come with an added cost:

To qualify for Next Working Day Delivery or Next Working Day pre 10.30am , you must submit your order to us before 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Our Next Working Day Delivery Service excludes pallet deliveries.

If your order is placed after the 3:30 pm cut-off on a Friday, it will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery. Bank holidays are considered non-working days and will be treated as such.

If the order requires delivery via a pallet, the service will be free on a 2-3 working days delivery and shown at checkout. 

If a pallet delivery is required for your order (typically large bulky items, coils of 500m pipe, Overlay Panels, Insulation) have you considered the following:

  1. Are there any access issues leading to you delivery point, can you fit a 18t vehicle to you location?
  2. Do you have your own facilities to off load? If not do you require a Tail Lift and Pump Truck?
  3. Our vehicles will only unload  kerb side, if you have a gravel drive way this will be left where the driver is able to unload with Tail Lift (if requested).

Please note: whilst we maintain strong relationships with our couriers and will do everything we can to ensure your delivery is with you the next working day (excluding pallet deliveries), some circumstances are beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or unusual events. This may lead to unavoidable disruption to your delivery’s arrival date. We will not be held responsible for any costs that are incurred as a result of delayed delivery, and it is recommended that customers ensure the materials required by their contractors are on site prior to the commencement of any work. 

We are here to help. As such, in the case that your product has been delayed, we will use our tracking service to help keep you informed and up to date of the estimated time and date of your delivery.

We can deliver to the Scottish Highlands, additional charges do apply and will be calculated at checkout.  Due to increasing custom charges we no longer ship to Ireland. If you require your order to be shipped to Northern Ireland or Ireland, arrangements can be made by prior agreement, please contact 01284 339669 to discuss with an account manager.

If you wish to collect your order from our warehouse, this must be done by prior arrangement, and collection can only be made once you have confirmation from our team that your goods are ready. Please do not turn up at our warehouse without prior arrangement and confirmation as you may be disappointed and turned away whilst your order is collated, and a collection time agreed.
